The Team

Kati has a strong background in sales, partnerships, strategy and business development. She was in charge of Finnair’s (Finland’s national airline) commercial operations in the US in 2012-2021 and lead the carrier's successful growth in the US. She also served as the Chair and President of the Finnish American Chamber of Commerce for several years.

Her passion for safety & health runs in the family: her father was a detective at the National Bureau of Investigation, her mother worked at Finnish Fed­er­a­tion of the Visually Impaired and both her grandfathers were doctors.

Aino's background is in the business and legal field. She holds a M. Sc. (Tech.) and a law degree from Finland as well as a law degree from Columbia Law School. She has several years of experience from working in BigLaw in New York with a special focus on corporate & finance law. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association (Bar Admission: New York (2017)).

Aino grew up in Finland regularly wearing a reflector, and today as a pet owner and avid runner, she continues being passionate about pedestrian and cyclist safety. She now wants to promote safer roads all over the world - starting with North America.
